Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. The RN will join a fast-paced ED team, providing high-quality emergency care on 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment with an on-site facility.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and 3 years of experience; duties cover triage, patient assessment, documentation, and coordinating care with physicians.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, 3 years of experience in ED/travel nursing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Provide ER treatment in a fast-paced environment.
• Document medical history and vital signs; monitor patient well-being.
• Maintain supplies and report suspected abuse to authorities.
• Perform basic bedside care and wound care; IV therapy as needed.
