Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Dell Rapids, SD. You will provide rapid-assessment and urgent care in a busy ED, with night shifts and 12-hour rotations, and enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Candidates must have one year ER RN experience, a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC. TNCC and other certifications are preferred. Travel entails 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document patient conditions and interventions in EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
