Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Bryan, Texas. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Requirements include an active RN license, nursing degree, 18 months of ER experience and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required). Comprehensive benefits and travel reimbursements are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention.
