Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for a 12-week assignment in Bryan, Texas. The ER RN will work 36 hours per week on day shifts in a fast-paced emergency department, delivering urgent care and triage. Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.

Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment. This role involves bedside care, IV therapy, wound care, documentation, and patient monitoring.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Care for patients in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Document medical history and patient vital signs; monitor emotional and physical well-being.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and maintain equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
