MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The position offers a travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Properly understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Able to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Emergency Room RN duties include recognizing and treating life-threatening conditions.
