Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Dell Rapids, South Dakota. The ED RN will work in a fast-paced emergency department, performing triage, assessment, and care under physician instructions, with emphasis on patient safety and efficiency.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC and 2 years of acute care experience. Assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ER/ED RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
