Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia. The position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week.

The ER RN will work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced emergency department, performing bedside care, triage and documentation while ensuring patient safety. Travel benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• NIH certification
• 2 years of acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care according to physician instructions in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Document medical history and vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and related tasks as trained.
• Communicate with patients and families and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
