HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (ER) for a Bakersfield travel assignment. This 13-week contract features 36 hours per week across 12-hour day shifts, with a start date of 11/02/2026. You will provide coordinated nursing care in a hospital ER and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold a California RN license and thrive in a fast-paced ER environment. Travel support, credentialing assistance, and ongoing staffing guidance are provided.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in California.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week).
• Experience in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, providing guidance as needed.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in daily care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
• Maintain patient safety, quality-of-care standards, and adherence to facility policies.
