Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in New Haven, CT. The RN will assume responsibility for the nursing process and delivery of patient care in the emergency department or other emergent critical care areas.

The role requires an active RN license in the state of practice with ER experience preferred and CEN certification preferred. CPR, health certificate, and compliance with regulations are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year ER experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the emergency department or other emergent critical care areas.
• Apply the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure quality care.
