Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel ER RN for a 14-week assignment in Lansing, MI. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced ED, emphasizing high-quality, patient-centered care and teamwork. Travel benefits and competitive pay are included.

Required: 1 year ER RN experience; valid Michigan RN license; BLS, ACLS and PALS (or ENPC). Preferred: TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, SANE certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience
• Current RN license in Michigan
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists and support staff.
