Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Apache Junction, AZ. You will provide rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department while enjoying a supportive clinical team and competitive compensation.

Requirements include 1 year of ER experience, current RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC, and strong critical thinking. TNCC/NIHSS/CPI/NRP/SANE are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS or ENPC required
• TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications preferred
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, paramedics and other staff
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control standards
