Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel RN in the ED (Emergency Department) for Saint Albans, Vermont. The position runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and travel duties. ACLS/BLS/NIH/PALS certifications and 3+ years of acute care experience are required.

Immediate openings and stipend details apply. Ideal candidates will handle fast-paced emergency care, triage, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care ER settings.
• Ability to triage and manage emergency patients.
• Travel nursing experience desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside ER care and wound management.
• Perform IV therapy and patient monitoring.
• Document histories, allergies, vital signs and care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and family, ensure patient safety.
• Assist in planning long-term care needs as appropriate.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
