Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ED assignment in West Burlington, IA. The 13-week travel position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts, starting 10/26/2026, and includes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ER RN will triage patients, administer lifesaving treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ED. Iowa RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC are required.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience is preferred.
• Active RN license in Iowa or applicable state.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS/ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rapid triage and initial assessment of emergency patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Support physicians during emergency exams and procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and document in EMR system.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
