Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Big Spring, Texas. The ER RN will work 12-hour days, totaling 48 hours per week and must have 1–2 years of acute care ER experience with ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Immediate openings availabile for travel nurses. As part of a diverse care team, you will triage, assess, and implement patient care following physician orders.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care ER experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage ER patients and implement physician-directed care.
• Monitor vital signs and document patient progress.
• Perform basic bedside care and wound care as needed.
• Administer IV therapy and manage medical equipment and supplies.
• Report safety concerns and suspected abuse to appropriate authorities.
