Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position in a Critical Access Hospital setting in Vermont. The role requires VT or compact RN licensure and multiple specialty certifications, with a 13-week travel assignment on a 3x12hr shift schedule and 36 hours per week.

Start date is Oct 19, 2026, with travel pay that includes stipends and a comprehensive benefits package. Lodging and meals allowances are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active VT or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NRP.
• No minimum years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department following Nursing Process and hospital standards.
• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other staff levels.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.
