Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse in Slayton, Minnesota. This ER RN role is 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, travel employment, starting 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks, with 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will triage, assess, and treat patients in a fast-paced environment, document histories and allergies, monitor vital signs, and support family education while maintaining supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Minnesota or eligible to practice.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage patients quickly and accurately.
• Provide care per physician orders and established protocols.
• Document medical history, allergies, and vital signs.
• Monitor patients’ condition and respond to changes.
• Perform bedside care, wound care, and IV therapy as needed.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment; report abuse when suspected.
