Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Danville, Virginia. You will deliver rapid-response, high-quality care in a busy emergency department, triaging patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with physicians and specialists.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of ER experience, an active RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications. Travel pay includes comprehensive benefits and dedicated support from a clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience is required.
• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following emergency nursing protocols.
• Support physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
