Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date 10/05/2026 with 36 guaranteed hours per week, working 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 rotation in a high-volume ED.

The role requires active Georgia RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications, and at least 2 years of ER experience. Travel assignments with dedicated support and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia.
• RN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 schedule in a fast-paced ED.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, evidence-based care in the emergency department, including triage, initial assessment, and stabilization.
• Continuously monitor patients, interpret vital signs and telemetry, document findings, and escalate changes promptly.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, injections, and treatments as ordered; manage lines and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and ancillary staff to coordinate care, disposition, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; uphold patient safety and privacy standards.
• Respond to critical events and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed.
