Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. This role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, starting 11/09/2026, and involves float duties across several Iowa Methodist facilities.

Candidates must have 36 months ED experience, certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC), and EPIC EMR experience is highly preferred. Local travel rate reductions may apply. This is a travel assignment through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required.
• 36 months ED experience minimum.
• Travel-friendly candidate with prior travel assignments preferred.
• Able to float to all floors at multiple Iowa Methodist locations.

Responsibilities

• Float to all floors at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital and Methodist West.
• Provide ED nursing care to pediatric and adult patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care quality.
