Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for Salem, VA. This 12-week travel assignment requires working 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN license (state of VA or ability to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Travel nursing contract: 12 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a high-acuity ER setting.
• Collaborate with medical staff to execute procedures such as RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocols, and central line placements.
• Monitor and care for psych patients and transfer patients to other facilities as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to unit guidelines and policies.
