Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Valparaiso, Indiana. The ER Travel Nurse will evaluate, triage and implement care in a fast-paced environment, documenting histories and monitoring emotional and physical well-being.

This 13-week assignment offers 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend to be determined. Requirements include BLS, NBSTSA, and 1.5 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• BLS and NBSTSA certifications required.
• 1.5 years of acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
