Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract in Valparaiso, Indiana. The role features a 4x12 night schedule with 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts, 96 guaranteed hours bi-weekly and no on-call requirements.

You will work in a 30-bed ED providing care to a wide range of urgent conditions, with a typical 1:4 patient ratio and Cerner EMR usage. ASAP start and travel logistics are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS.
• Current NIHSS.
• Current PALS or ENPC.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Local candidates are not accepted.
• Required license and certifications must be available at submission.
• Current driver's license and permanent home address are required, and the address must match the ID.

Responsibilities

• Assess, stabilize and monitor emergency patients.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Float to other units when required.
• EMR: Cerner.
