Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department assignment requiring TX or compact RN licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC). Minimum two years ED experience and active license are required. Flu vaccination is mandatory. Two professional references are also needed.

The role is a travel position with a 13-week duration, 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), and a 4:1 patient ratio. Scrubs must be black; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required.
• Mandatory flu vaccination required with no exemptions granted.
• Two professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting.
• Patient ratio of 4:1.
• 12-hour PM shifts (7p-7a), 36 hours per week.
• Rotating weekend requirements.
• On-call is optional.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Black scrubs required.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel position.
• Local candidates within the radius are not accepted.
