Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Duluth, Georgia. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care ER experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS/ NIH certifications, and will operate on 12-hour night shifts for a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour work week.

The ER RN will triage and implement care per physician instructions in a fast-paced environment, performing bedside care, IV therapy, wound care, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications required.
• At least 2 years of RN experience in acute care or ER setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care
• Clean and bandage wounds
• Provide IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Document medical history and allergies
• Obtain and monitor vital signs
• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced ED
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies
