Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Canton, GA. The ER RN will assess, triage and provide care in a fast-paced environment, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and the ability to document and coordinate care with the care team. Travel assignments include benefits and weekly pay through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage and initiate care for ER patients.
• Perform basic bedside care and wound care.
• Provide IV therapy and monitor patient vital signs.
• Document medical history, allergies and patient status; communicate with physicians.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; follow safety and infection-control protocols.
