Qualifications
- Telemetry experience required.
- Travel nursing experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications; PALS or ENPC acceptable.
- Ability to read telemetry strips.
- Flu vaccine required on onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct ER nursing care including triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, fluids, and treatments; interpret telemetry strips and respond to rhythm changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other team members to implement and adjust care plans; document care in the EMR.
- Monitor patient status, ensure safety and comfort, manage equipment, and assist with procedures; assist with discharge planning or admissions.
- Respond to emergencies using ACLS/TNCC protocols and participate in patient and family communication.
