Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Jackson, Mississippi. The ER travel RN will work nights, 12-hour shifts, for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, supporting fast-paced emergency care. ACLS/BLS/PALS required with 1–2 years of acute care experience.

Duties include triage, bedside care, and vital sign monitoring. Travel RN roles involve documenting medical histories, advising on care plans, and maintaining readiness for varying

Qualifications

• RN license in the United States (state license required).
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in ER.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required or to be obtained before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Provide care and perform basic bedside procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals, document medical history, and communicate with physicians.
