American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in New Jersey. The position requires a current NJ license, and 2 years of Level I/II trauma center ED experience at a large academic hospital.

Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required; TNCC can be pending with a scheduled class. The assignment features a night shift (3x12s), 168,000+ annual ED visits, and the flexibility to float between Paterson and Wayne campuses.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or compact RN license at submission
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years ED experience in Level I/II Trauma Center
• Experience with observation and admitted boarding patients preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• 2 professional references or evaluations required for consideration

Responsabilités

• ED care for adult and pediatric patients, including triage, STEMI and stroke
• Care for observation and admitted boarding patients
• Night shift 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12 hours
• Patient ratios 1:5+ with hallway patient occasionally 1:7–8
• Must float to areas within skillset including ED boarding and observation
• May float between Paterson and Wayne campuses ~12 miles apart
• Cerner/FirstNet charting preferred
• No blocked scheduling; up to 3 shifts can be called off per 13 weeks
• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume academic ED
• ED serves 168k+ patients annually; dedicated pediatric ED handles 40k+ visits
