Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Long Beach, California. This is a travel assignment at a large Level II trauma center, starting 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 3x12 night schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and PALS, plus 2.5 years of ER experience in a high-volume center (>90,000 visits annually). Orientation includes EPIC training and potential hospital-wide float.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2.5 years ER experience in a Level II trauma center with high-volume ED (>90,000 visits annually).
• Certifications completed and documented via certificates/transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in a high-volume ED at a Level II trauma center.
• Care for a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics.
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), totaling 36 hours/week.
• Complete EPIC training during orientation.
• Float within the hospital based on census.
