Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Wichita Falls, TX. The ER RN will deliver rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department, triaging patients and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

The role requires ER RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications, with TNCC/NIHSS/NRP/SANE preferred. Travel benefits and comprehensive insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.
• TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the ED.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
