Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift in Louisiana. Candidates must hold a LA or Compact RN license, and have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications, plus Epic EMR experience within the last year.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in ED, travel contract experience, and readiness for 3x12-hour night shifts with some holiday coverage. First-time travelers are not considered due to travel-contract requirements.

Qualifications

Active LA or compact RN license required.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI.
NRP and ENPC certifications preferred.
TNCC certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, trauma ED experience preferred.
Epic EMR experience within the last year required.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting, preferably a trauma center.
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM).
Floating required in rotation with facility staff according to clinical experience and facility policy.
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
Minimal RTO expected, with no requests during the first two weeks of the assignment or for full calendar weeks off.
Any RTO must be approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment
Some holiday coverage expected.
First-time travelers will not be considered due to travel contract experience requirement.
