Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night-shift acute care position in Merced, California. The role requires Cerner EMR experience and an active CA RN license. You will work nights in a fast-paced ED with a variety of cases, supported by ER techs and a multidisciplinary team.

Expect 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week assignment with 2 openings. Documentation, patient care, and adherence to stroke and EMTALA standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• Strong, thorough documentation skills required.
• Copy of driver’s license required; two professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ER care in a high-volume Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with ER techs, RNs, and LVNs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Adhere to EMTALA and stroke-certified facility protocols.
