American Traveler has an immediate opening for an Emergency Room RN (Urgent Care & Trauma Support) in Baltimore, Maryland. Travel nurses receive a highly competitive pay and benefits package with personalized client service.

Requirements include 1+ year ER experience, Maryland RN license, BLS certification from AHA; ACLS preferred; specialty certifications are welcome. Open positions: 1. Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of ER travel nursing experience.
• RN license valid in Maryland.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• ACLS certification may be required.
• Specialty-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient injuries or conditions upon arrival.
• Administer treatments, IVs, medications and injections.
• Conduct EKGs and triage elements.
• Educate patients and families on home care.
• Support physicians and discharge planning.
