Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Baytown, TX. The RN will assume responsibility for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in the emergency department or other emergent critical care areas.

Must hold an active RN license, with ER experience preferred and CEN certification preferred. CPR, TB/health clearance, and compliance with regulatory requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department RN applies nursing process and delivers patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.
