Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse ER RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Tyndall, South Dakota. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will evaluate, triage and implement care according to physician orders, document medical history, monitor vitals and provide IV therapy, with a fast-paced team and travel pay. Benefits include weekly pay and more.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced emergency department environment preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population and maintain composure under stress.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history, allergies and patient vital signs.
• Administer IV therapy and provide basic bedside care.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure safety and infection control.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
