Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Corvallis, OR. This role provides rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department, with support from a dedicated clinical team and comprehensive benefits.

The ER RN will assess patients, implement urgent care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and paramedics to ensure patient safety and efficient outcomes in critical situations.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per approved emergency nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort in the ED.
• Observe and document patient conditions within scope of practice.
• Take and monitor vital signs using clinical judgment.
• Document nursing assessments and outcomes in EMR.
• Initiate patient education plans according to needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
