Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. You will deliver rapid-response care in a fast-paced ED, triaging patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires ER experience, valid MD RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a commitment to exceptional nursing care. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and robust support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in MD state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification
• Preferred: TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during procedures
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
