Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN Float ED in Laveen, Arizona. This travel assignment is for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day/evening shifts in the Emergency Department. Active RN license and an accredited nursing degree are required, with 18 months of ED experience.

BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required by the client facility. The agency provides benefits, credentialing fee coverage, housing options, and travel reimbursement as part of the Travel nurse package.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required.
• 18 months of recent ED/Acute Care experience.
• Other requirements determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses.
• Provide decisive care for life-threatening conditions.
• Understand triage and prioritize injuries by need.
• Make quick assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.
