Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a contract assignment in Augusta, Georgia. You will join the EP Lab team to support cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, with 40 hours/week and 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing in the appropriate EP field.
• Appropriate EP certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance in the EP lab for patient care.
• Use imaging equipment to help diagnose and treat heart issues.
• Review patient history and verify the medical order.
• Evaluate images for quality and ensure the area is included.
• Communicate imaging results to the physician.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic EP procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver professional, cost-effective patient care.
