Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a hospital assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The EP Lab Tech will support cardiology procedures including EP studies, device implants, and catheter ablations, working 40 hours per week on days.

Start ASAP for a 13-week contract with potential extension, backed by SHC’s national network, benefits, and recruiter support throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Requires one of the following certifications: RCES, RCIS, or ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Work with cardiologists to diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias).
• Assist with invasive EP procedures including EP studies, device implants (pacemakers, defibrillators), and catheter ablations.
• Support patient monitoring and safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)

RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
