Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position in North Carolina. The role requires 3+ years of EP experience and comfort with conscious sedation.

Requirements include an active RN license (NC or Compact), BLS and ACLS, EP procedures experience, ability to scrub/circulate, sterile technique, and EPIC/Cupid charting. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 4x10 hour shifts, and local candidates within 50 miles may receive a lower rate.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 3+ years EP Lab RN experience
• Experience: EP procedures, arrhythmia induction, ablation, mapping, AICD/pacemaker, LAAO, scrub procedures
• Comfort with conscious sedation
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage life-threatening arrhythmias
• Experience with laser-assisted procedures and sterile technique
• IV start and maintenance
• Epic charting experience

Responsibilities

• EP Lab with ~15 cases daily
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Scrub/circulate; monitor patients; maintain sterile fields
• Possible additional shifts to reach 40 hours weekly
• Manage supplies and equipment; document in EPIC/Cupid/Cardio Lab
• May float within/near facility; may work holidays and storm teams
• 13-week minimum contract length
