Job summary
American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP Lab RN with 2+ years of cardiac electrophysiology experience for a role at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital. Responsibilities include care of patients undergoing pacemaker/ICD implants, ablations, and EP studies, with CARTO/Abbott mapping systems and Cryo used for select cases.
The position offers 4x10-hour days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM), no weekend requirements, and potential for ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Active WA state RN license or compact license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- ARRT-R advanced certification plus WA state radiology tech license, or CCI RCIS certification plus WA state Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification.
- Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience with proven ability to scrub devices and ablations.
- Epic charting experience required.
Responsibilities
- Work in the EP Lab of a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.
- Care for patients undergoing coronary device implants (pacemakers/ICDs), diagnostic EP studies, and ablation procedures.
- Procedures include pacemaker, ICD, loop recorder, and Micra pacemaker insertion, plus lead extractions with surgical support.
- Ablation procedures include VT, PVC, AFib, AFlutter with transeptal approach.
- Utilizes CARTO and Abbott mapping systems, with Cryo for select AFib ablations.
