Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Lab RN for a 5-week travel assignment in Silver Spring, Maryland. You will work with our clinical team to support EP procedures, including ablations and device implants, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires 1 year of EP lab RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications; travel nursing benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

1 year of recent EP lab RN experience.
Valid RN license per state regulations.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for EP lab patients and document findings accurately.
Educate patients and families on electrophysiology procedures and post-procedure care.
Assist physicians with EP studies, ablations, and device implantations.
Administer medications including conscious sedation as ordered.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and patient responses during procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and support procedural workflow.
Provide immediate post-procedure care and monitor for complications.
