Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Aurora, Colorado. The RN will support EP procedures, including ablations and device implants, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year EP lab RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel benefits and comprehensive coverage are offered by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

One year’s recent experience as an Electrophysiology Lab RN.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification.
Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for EP lab patients and document findings accurately.
Educate patients and families on electrophysiology procedures, pre- and post-procedure care.
Assist physicians with electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations.
Administer medications, including conscious sedation, per physician orders.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient responses during procedures.
Identify changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed.
Maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment setup and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with care team to implement patient-centered treatment plans.
Provide post-procedure care and monitor for complications.
