Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist for a cardiac cath lab in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital in Des Moines. The role requires EP experience and ARRT certification, with travel between Des Moines campuses and a 4x10 schedule.

Experience in EP procedures, ECG stimulation, and CCL is preferred. The assignment includes housing allowances, travel reimbursements, and benefits typical of traveling technologists.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months EP experience required (24 months preferred).
• Stim experience required.
• ARRT certification required.
• RCIS or RCES license accepted if applicable.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Professional reference from a supervisor within the last 24 months preferred.
• Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP or Cardiac Cath/CCL required.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab/EP unit within a Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, starting at 0630 with a rotating day off.
• No weekend or on-call requirements.
• Float across all Des Moines campuses to like units.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Perform electrophysiology procedures and studies as part of the cardiac cath lab team.
• Located in a facility recognized for advanced cardiology and vascular care.
• Travel experience highly preferred.
• Contractors required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed.
• Limited time-off requests permitted during winter holiday periods.
• Past UnityPoint Health employees may be subject to employment separation restrictions.
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
