Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel assignment in Akron, Ohio. The selected candidate will join a team delivering endoscopy care in a fast-paced setting and support the patient experience with high-standard nursing practice.

The role requires an Active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of acute care endoscopy experience.

Qualifications

Active RN license
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS certifications
ACLS certifications
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Endoscopy setting

Responsibilities

Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner focusing on physiologic and cognitive needs.
Provides technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice.
Maintains personal contact with patients and relatives, ensuring courtesy, dignity and privacy.
Stores, checks and administers medication per standards.
Maintains nursing records and confidentiality.
Works with minimal supervision during procedures, admission and recovery.
