Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Endoscopy RN for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The position offers 40 hours per week, flexible 8-hour shifts, and travel reimbursement.

Requirements include RN license, BSN or equivalent, BLS and ACLS, and 18 months acute care endoscopy experience. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, health and life insurance, and a dedicated support team.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Endoscopy setting

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic and psychobiologic needs.
• Provides technical assistance during diagnostic/therapeutic Endoscopic procedures.
• Maintains contact with patients and relatives, ensuring courtesy, dignity and privacy.
• Stores, checks and administers medication per standards and guidelines.
• Maintains timely and accurate nursing records and confidentiality.
• Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission and recovery.
