Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Endoscopy RN in Bakersfield, CA for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 18+ months of acute care Endoscopy experience, a valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Travel status with 40 hours/week and 10-hour day shifts.

The RN will provide endoscopy support, monitor patient safety, and contribute to a collaborative care team. Housing options and credentialing support available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care endoscopy setting.
• Endoscopy RN specialty for travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing patient assessment focused on physiologic and psychobiologic needs.
• Provides technical assistance during endoscopic procedures with patient safety in mind.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and accurate nursing documentation.
• Administers medications per standards and guidelines.
• Works with minimal supervision during procedures, admissions, and recovery.
