Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Endoscopy RN for an assignment in Augusta, Georgia. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent acute care Endoscopy experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care Endoscopy experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection focused on physiologic, psychobiologic and cognitive needs of patient/family.
• Provides technical assistance during endoscopic procedures.
• Maintains patient contact and ensures courtesy, dignity and privacy.
• Stores, checks and administers medications per standards.
• Keeps timely, accurate nursing records and maintains confidentiality.
• Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission and recovery.
