Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a Travel Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. You will provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders across multiple nursing homes.

The role involves on-site visits, ordering tests, and creating treatment plans, with a focus on diabetes, thyroid issues, and hormone-related conditions. Travel throughout Pennsylvania is required to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• DEA license.
• Master’s degree in nursing and completion of an accredited NP program.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Endocrinology experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to PA nursing homes; 100% commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
• Assess and treat endocrinology diseases and conditions.
• Travel regularly to nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care.
• Conduct patient assessments including history and physical exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop diagnoses and treatment plans.

Job Summary

As a Travel Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other hormone-related issues. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care
• Assessing and treating patients with endocrinology diseases and conditions
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Endocrinology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation
• Must be willing to travel to different nursing homes within the state of Pennsylvania (100% commitment)
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
• Driving significant distances (sometimes daily or multi-day). Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors. Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams. Lifting/moving patients.
